Client Holiday Fashion Shoot 2023!

Once again, a group of my lovely clients came together for a holiday fashion shoot.

The carpet was rolled up and furniture was moved around in my home to make room for a fun morning of photography.

Here is their before shot, from left to right: Calea, Tina, Terrie, Maria and Gina. You’ll meet each one at the end of this blog post.

Some weeks before the shoot, I went looking for fabulous holiday outfits for my clients to wear for the holiday fashion shoot. Once I had eveything picked out, we had fun doing the individual fittings and working out hair, shoes and other accessories.

This year my color groups included two Earth, two Jewel and one Sunshine. The clothing that I picked out for them, was true to their individual color group.

They had gloves, handbags, roses, earrings, cover ups, etc., to play with on the shoot.

Here they are, after some fun practicing fashion poses. Hair, makeup and clothing in place, they were ready to be photographed!

The runway walk is always fun! I spent some time showing them how to walk on a runway, music going and then they had at it!

I’m always curious to see which poses a cleint brings to the shoot and it is fun to help them find a pose that works for them. I love the “arty” poses which can be moody, dramtic, poignant or serious. And, who doesn’t love the all-out fun poses?!

The group enthusiastically supported each other. Sometimes being photographed can feel a bit unnevering, but when you are having fun in a supportive environment, it feels much easier!

Thanks so much to this lovely group of women, you were so much fun to photograph!
